Vivid Entertainment is a big name in the porn industry. They are one of the most famous American porn studios.

Vivid started producing doing porn over 30 years ago, and it has released thousands of VHS tapes and DVDs since then. The studio also launched their membership-based website early on, in the 90s. This is our third review of it.

There are some good news and some bad news. The good news is, you now get full Adult Time access with your membership, which is one of the best porn networks online.
The bad news is that Vivid seems to have stopped producing new scenes in 2020.

With this membership, you get access to their entire Vivid library (all Vivid subsites, including Vivid Celeb) of around 7000 scenes, plus the Adult Time mega network, which has around 54,000 more scenes.

In the new Adult Time interface, if you expand the Vivid channel in the Videos menu, you'll get a list of Vivid's sub-sites aka sub-channels. We'll describe all of them, dedicating a special section to Vivid Celeb, their most special sub-site.

Vivid Celeb

Vivid Celeb is probably the biggest attraction to many readers. It is the only place to watch the sex tapes of many celebs. There are good news and bad news here too. The good news is that unlike on the previous site, now you can download the celebrity sex tapes too, not just stream them. (Unless you bought a cheaper streaming-only membership.) The bad news is that the Kim Kardashian sex tape isn't available in the Vivid Celeb library anymore.

The movies are surprisingly long, 60 minutes on average. The celeb sex videos' quality varies a lot. Some new home videos look great—such as Farrah Abraham's, Tammy Lynn Sytch's, and Tila Tequila's. There are also many older tapes which don't look that good.

But, when it comes to celeb tapes, we'll watch whatever we can get. There are some really hot celeb tapes in here, with sweaty, wild celeb sex. There is raw hard sex and blowjobs in them, I was quite surprised actually. I have to say that I loved the videos.

Other Vivid channels

In addition to Vivid Celeb, there are 14 sub-sites that are part of Vivid:

As you can see, the Vivid channels cover a lot of niches. You'll get a lot of mainstream porn, with American porn stars from the past few decades up to 2020. There are also amateurs, for instance at Brand New Faces. And there are also a few genres that don't have their own channel—for instance there are a number of BDSM scenes spread out between the channels. If you like mainstream porn, you'll find a lot of great stuff here.

All of the content can be downloaded and streamed. Most of it in Full HD, except for the oldest stuff. Having said that, many of these Full HD scenes are remastered, and not at the quality level of the new paysites. In other words, you can expect good video quality at Vivid, but not top of the line.

There are also pictures at Vivid, but a lot less than videos. You will find some great galleries, I especially like the oldest ones. In the new galleries it's often screen caps instead of real photos, or just a few teaser pics they probably took for promoting the DVDs. But if you go back a few pages, you'll find some awesome photo sets. There is a nice photo viewer now, and you can also download the galleries as ZIP files.

Is the entire Adult Time included with the Vivid membership? Yes, but make sure you use the right link to join the new Vivid. With this link you'll get access to both Vivid and Adult Time, and also get the x3guide discount. (There are links out on the Internet there that lead to the old Vivid, which may not include access to Adult Time.)

The new site works perfectly on computers, tablets, and mobile. Downloads and streaming are fast. You get all the modern browsing tools: easy-to-use pagination, advanced search, favorites, filtering using channels, models, and plenty of keywords. The old Vivid members area had tons of ads, that problem is gone too.

It is important to note that Vivid doesn't update at the moment. They haven't added any new scenes for a while, and it might stay that way. On the other hand, the new members area is the best it ever had. Their huge library is finally easy to browse and search, and the streaming and downloads are super smooth too.

The most important change is that you get access to Adult Time with your membership now, making it risk-free to get a subscription. Adult Time is really one of the best adult subscriptions to have, it's a great deal at the price.
