Jim Slip review

Jim Slip is a formerly stand-alone site that has been around for 20 years. It offers scenes with a unique twist on the younger woman (18-23) / older man niche with the site owner, Jim Slip, bringing energy and humour to his scenes with some of the hottest models working in the UK and Eastern Europe.

I've been a member at the site on multiple occasions when it was a stand-alone site. Considering that much of the operation was run by Jim Slip and his wife, Lara (who also has her own site called Lara's Playground) the site wasn't as polished as it could be if it were managed by or affiliated with a larger network.

The good news is that Jim Slip is now part of the large and varied European porn network called Adult Prime. Many of the shortcomings that Jim Slip had as a stand-alone site have been fixed. As someone who has always enjoyed Jim Slip's scenes, this is great news. The porn was too good to be let down by a weak site and I'm happy to report that the technical aspects of the website are now up to the high standards of the porn itself.

There are other sites that offer similar setups, but Jim Slip is a legend who adds its own flair to the niche. Jim Slip, the man who gives his name to the site, picks up attractive young women in cities in the UK and throughout continental Europe, but mostly in eastern European cities such as Budapest or Prague. The set up in many of the scenes is that Jim approaches an attractive model and talks her into coming back to his flat for a photo shoot that then turns into sex.

Some of the scenes, however, have more of a casting couch flavour to them.

So as a reader you are probably thinking that there is nothing unique about either of these set ups. There are dozens of other sites that use these. While that is certainly true, Jim adds a quirkiness and a sense of humour to the scenes that is unique. This may or may not add to your enjoyment of the scenes, but it is also unusual that it's Jim's wife, Lara, behind the camera for most scenes.

The models themselves are a mix of British and (mostly) Eastern European models. Jim's taste in models closely aligns with my own because he tends to find models from 18-29 to mid-20s who are petite and conventionally good-looking, but there are some MILFs too.

Since many of the scenes start out as a photo shoot, Jim has the models dressed in stockings, lingerie, high heels, or sexy clothes that are sometimes some sort of sexy cliché such as a school uniforms or cowgirl clothes. I'll admit a subjective bias here – I really like the costumes that the models wear.

The scenes themselves have a playfulness about them because Jim, as a man old enough to be the father of most of the models, brings a sense of humour and even zaniness to the scenes. He doesn't take himself seriously and, in my opinion, that makes the scenes fun to watch.

I don't want to leave you, the reader, with the misconception that Jim Slip personally or the site that bears his name is a true amateur site: it isn't. As much as Jim Slip tries to create the atmosphere of these being unscripted scenes, they are all professionally shot and edited.

There is a little bit of chatting, teasing, and banter in the beginning of the scenes. While most of the models have some English language skills and are up for some dirty talk, there are a few that don't. In my opinion, this doesn't detract much from those scenes, especially since Jim's wife Lara also comments on the action sometimes. It is also hot that many of the models pull their panties aside, tease the viewer and masturbate before they get to the sex.

When the sex does start, it is hot. There is a dirty amateur vibe to it, but at the same time these scenes are shot professionally. Jim certainly knows what he's doing as a performer, and his wife, running the camera, knows how to capture the action. There is a a lot of dick sucking, fucking, and the sends often end with Jim cumming into the girl's mouth.

Jim Slip has been around since 2002 and has been continually updating since that so it shouldn't be a surprise that there are currently 772 videos available at the time of the review, with two new scenes being added each month.
I should note that sometimes the updates are older scenes that are remastered. On one hand, it would be good to get at least 2 totally new scenes every month. On the other hand, the older scenes do benefit from remastering, it's great to get them in better quality.

A past annoyance with the way the scenes are structured was that a single scene would often be split into two segments with each being uploaded separately and sometimes weeks apart. It seemed as if the decision regarding where to split the scene was random. What this meant for the viewer back in those older days, was that you may be enjoying a scene that ended abruptly and you'd have to wait several weeks for the second half to be uploaded. While the site still does two scenes with each model, now they choose to shoot what can be two stand-alone scenes and those are usually uploaded in sequence. It is certainly a big improvement over how the site used to split and upload scenes in its earlier days.

It should be no surprise to any reader that for a site that has been around for 20 years, the available resolutions and quality vary quite a bit. The new scenes are 1080P Full HD and they look nice. If you go back a few pages, you'll also find the videos in 1080P Full HD, but they often don't look as great as the newer ones. Then some of the older scenes have been remastered since they have higher specs now than what I recall seeing when I had memberships at the original Jim Slip site years ago. The oldest scenes in the archives, as you can expect from their age, aren't HD.
Even if the quality isn't perfect, I highly recommend checking out the older scenes. There are lots of really hot ones that you shouldn't miss out on.

All the videos are available for downloads and streaming. My experience is that the specs for both are the same. For more details on resolutions and bit rates, please see the video details pane. Please note, however, that given the variation in resolutions and bitrates, it isn't possible for me to have captured all of them.
The site doesn't offer any scenes in 4K. While this is a shortcoming in 2022, it is less of a problem than the quality issues of some of the older Full HD scenes.

Photos are also available at Jim Slip and most of the scenes have a associated photo set. The photo sets are nice quality with both teasing and hardcore parts. They're high resolution, and the ones shot a few years ago look nice too. You have to go back to the very beginning to the archives to run into low quality photos. Photos can be viewed online, and you can also download the complete galleries in ZIP files.
One little drawback is that there is no direct link from the video page to the photo page and vice versa. You can find all Photo updates by finding the Photos link near the top.

If Jim Slip was still a stand-alone site, I would have no hesitation in recommending a membership, but Jim Slip is now part of the huge Adult Prime network that has over 60 (mostly) European porn sites offering a wide variety of porn across almost any imaginable niche. The network has over 25,000 videos and 25,000 photo sets in total. Because of this, not only would I recommend a membership here, but I would recommend that you think about a recurring or longer-term membership because it will likely take you a long time to see everything that interests you on the network.

Because Jim Slip is part of the Adult Prime network, the members area looks the same as others. It is easy-to-use and logically laid out, and it works well on every kind of device. It's easy to find things that interest you and once you do, it's easy to select streaming, downloading and photos.
You get complete access to all subsites in the network. You can either browse the updates of the whole network, or head straight to the Jim Slip collection through the Studios menu.

I found downloading and streaming speeds to be fast and stable though, obviously, your own Internet connection will have a large effect on this. I downloaded a large number of scenes to see if it triggered a download limit or any kind of throttling but I didn't encounter any. That's not to say that there isn't a download limit, but if there is, it's reasonable and not one that the average user will encounter.
A decent internet connection is recommended for the videos, as they don't offer a low bitrate version for many of them. For the new videos, you'll be downloading 2-4 GB per scene—the size is the same for streaming, but only if you watch the scenes from beggining to end. ;)

It won't come as any surprise to you, the reader, to learn that I am highly recommending a membership at Jim Slip. It's a huge site that offers fun-to-watch scenes featuring some attractive models performing with an older man who happens to also be a skilled porn star. The scenes are well shot and edited, and if you can get past the quality issues of the older scenes, you'll enjoy the super hot and unique scenes of this paysite.
Even if you work your way through the almost-800 scenes at Jim Slip, you will still find many thousands of scenes on the rest of the Adult Prime network, some of them in similar genres even. Jim's wife site, Lara's Playground is also included in the Adult Prime membership. If you like your porn with an international flair, a dose of humour and some very attractive models, then a subscription to Jim Slip should be in your near future.
