TadpoleXStudio is a pro-am studio founded in early 2023 by an unlikely man, who goes by the stage name Tad Pole. Tad is an unlikely source for porn since up until recently, his life was relatively normal – 20 years in the US Navy and then working as a teacher. After divorcing his wife, Tad Pole began hosting “lifestyle parties” in Chicago.

What he found was that there were many women interested in group sex and gangbangs, some of whom expressed interest in going into the adult industry but lacked any experience or connections. Tad then came up with a brilliant idea to record his lifestyle parties and make them available at PornHub. In his description of how his hobby became a business, he says that one day PornHub contacted him looking for his banking information so they could send him money generated from advertising on his channel. It was then that he realized this could be a viable business and in 2023, Tad founded TadpoleXStudio.

It’s probably worth noting that the porn here isn’t for everyone. Tad and his friends are all older (Tad is 53 at the time of this writing) and most of them don’t have what would be considered a typical male porn star body. Most of the men, including Tad himself, are pale, pudgy, and hairy. Very few of them are sporting penises bigger than average, and several of them are on the lower end of average.

The women on the site cut a broader swath than the men do. Some scenes feature young, petite, A-list stars like Tiana Blow and Molly Little. Others feature slightly older but still A-list stars like Rebel Rhyder. Then there are amateurs and relative unknown performers whose ages run from mid-20s to probably late-30s, and whose body types range from petite to curvy.

The sex scenes on the site also occur on a broad spectrum. There are one-on-one scenes, B/B/G threesomes, B/G/G threesomes, and there are also orgies and gangbangs. There are a few scenes available that I’d classify as “behind the scenes” but not in the traditional way. TadpoleXStudio has several BTS scenes that focus on the fluffers getting and keeping the male talent hard and ready for their starring role in a gangbang. While I can’t explain it, I find something particularly alluring about these scenes.

As I wrote above, the scenes at TadpoleX Studio aren’t going to be to everyone’s liking. However, I’m sure that I’m not alone when I confess to having signed up for a membership almost immediately after stumbling on the site. One of the reasons I signed up to TadpoleXStudio so quickly was because this style of site is relatively rare. I’ve kicked around on internet porn sites since the internet became a thing, and there aren’t many websites like this. Two sites that I know of that are comparable are called “Desperate Pleasures” and “Naughty Midwest Girls”. The scenes at those two sites, along with TadpoleXStudio, have a look that draws me in. Given that TadpoleXStudio uses professional-grade cameras, I think what they offer is better than the other two sites.

While the technical aspects of the scenes don’t match the best professional studios, I wouldn’t call it purely amateur either. Most of the scenes feature a mix of fixed and hand-held cameras capturing the action, but some scenes rely on just one or the other. As stated, the “set” is usually a hotel room. The lighting is generally good and allows the viewer to see the action. Some readers may disagree with me, but I find the limited editing here at TadpoleXStudio adds to their overall charm. It seems to me that TadpoleXStudio recognizes that they are a pro-am site and are comfortable with that. Sometimes the cameras miss some of the action. Sometimes the cameras miss an unplanned “money shot”. Sometimes, there is a brief back-and-forth between the talent about switching positions or changing the camera angle. I don’t find any of that obtrusive and I do find that it provides for a more immersive experience for the viewer.

The scenes at TadpoleXStudio fall more to the “gonzo” end of the porn spectrum. There is no plot or premise in any of the scenes. None of the participants are following a script or playing a role. These people, whether there are two, three, or a dozen, are simply there to have fun while cameras capture the action. Because of this, the scenes aren’t structured in the way a mainstream studio’s porn scene is. The primary camera may be focused on one couple in an orgy while you can see other action going on in the periphery. As mentioned, because these are unscripted scenes and many of the men are amateurs, money shots may occur without much planning and the camera could catch the action late. I think a good way of describing orgies and gangbangs is that they are chaotic – and I mean that in a good way. It’s clear the participants are having fun and I like watching the scenes from a “fly on the wall” perspective.

Tad Pole started creating scenes and uploading them to PornHub in 2019 and based on the success of his channel there, he started the TadpoleX Studio in 2023. Because the TadpoleXStudio paysite draws some scenes from its days on PornHub, a scene shot in 2019 or 2020 may have been uploaded to TadpoleXStudio in 2023 or 2024. The good news is that TadpoleXStudio likely has a catalogue of scenes to keep adding to the website, though they are still actively shooting as well.

TadpoleXStudio currently has 159 scenes available and updates frequently with a new scene being added every three or four days.

I’ve listed the average scene length as being approximately 45 minutes, but readers should note that there is a wide variation in length. A B/G scene may come in at 25 minutes, where a large orgy could run over 2 hours.

The site offers streaming and downloads in Full HD across their entire catalogue. Quality is generally good. I did run into some videos which were a bit jerky, but my eyes are pretty sensitive to this, others might not notice at all. Most scenes are available in three different resolutions, which I’ve listed in the video details section. At the moment there are only a few scenes that offer 4K resolution for downloads. This number will probably grow slowly, as not all new scenes offer 4K, it’s quite random.

While I’m talking about resolutions, there is frequently a VR camera in view through many of the scenes. This TadpoleXStudio paysite is for normal 2D porn, the VR scenes aren’t available here. Maybe a stand-alone VR site will be created in the future, I have no inside knowledge of this.

I don’t think Tad Pole would disagree with me when I say that Tadpole XStudio is primarily a video site. Photos aren’t available but screencaps are. Each scene has a series of screencaps, with the set size varying quite a bit. I’ve listed my educated guess of 180 being average across the site. The screencaps aren’t available as zips.

The TadpoleX Studio site is logical and easy to use. A subscriber can sort for scenes in chronological order, can search by specific model, or can select any of 52 tags covering most of the common and popular interests in porn scenes.

While your own internet connection will greatly influence your experience here, download speeds were fine for me. I did get some random interrupted downloads, but I managed to download those files too on the second try. When it comes to streaming, I experienced fast speeds which meant no stuttering and no perceptible lag when scrubbing forward.

TadpoleXStudio uses two reliable billers for handling the membership payments, Segpay and Epoch. As a frequent subscriber to porn sites, having access to a reputable biller is important to me. I’m not going to give my credit card and personal information to a biller I don’t know and trust, and I’ve used Segpay and Epoch hundreds of times over the years and have never had an issue with them.
