Dark Room VR review

Dark Room VR is a new project from the creators Virtual Taboo, a popular VR porn paysite. As the name suggests, DarkRoomVR also records porn to be enjoyed with your virtual reality headset, but explores darker themes. At the time of the review, the site had 55 videos, with a new one being added every single week. That's quite good for a new VR site, especially one that's in the BDSM niche.

You'll love the girls at DarkRoomVR. They have super pretty models from Europe. Many of them are new starlets just over 18. Others are already quite popular, such as Liya Silver, Kiara Lord, Dominno, Sheila Ortega, Alexis Crystal, Shaline Devine, and the Dellai twins.

The girls wear various clothes—many of them are in normal clothes, some of them are in kinky lingerie. There are many scenes with girls in school clothes, and I've also seen a maid costume and a wedding dress.

I love it that they use dark visuals in the videos, further adding to the dark theme. There are dark bedrooms and living rooms, as well as BDSM dungeons with cages. Each scene has a little premise or story. The models are mostly European, so there are only a few lines of basic conversation. Still, they are great to get the fantasy set up. The sex is hot, with blowjobs and fucking in many poses. It's very hot to be put in these taboo scenarios in virtual reality. It's an amazing experience to have hot controlling sex with these super hot models.

Just like at Virtual Taboo, the scenes look gorgeous. They are available in very high quality, up to 7K resolution (7260*3630), 180°, 60 fps framerate, binaural sound, with a HDR 10-bit image. Most people won't have a headset that supports HDR yet, but as they become more available, this option will be awesome. Of course the site offers several other quality options, so no matter what kind of VR device you have, they'll have a video file for it.

Each update comes with a proper photo gallery with 70-135 pics. They look pretty great. A photo resolution larger than 2000px would be good to have, but if you're not a real photo enthusiast you'll be very happy with them. The pics can be browsed online, as well as downloaded in gallery ZIPs. (To find these ZIP photo downloads, click the last pic thumbnail on the scene page which displays the number of images, eg. The site's design is great looking and it is easy to use, no matter if you're on mobile or desktop. They have an updates page, a models page, and lots of tags/keywords added to the Tags page which you can use for searching. I missed the ability to sort the scenes by rating, but that's not a big deal as the site is not huge yet.
The videos can be both downloaded and streamed online in many resolutions. (See our videos section for the details). A good internet connection is needed, as VR files tend to be big, but you probably know this already. I had great download speeds.

I was impressed with DarkRoomVR. It is a great VR porn site with high quality, super hot videos. It's not as big as the major VR sites, but if domination excites you and you have a VR device, it's an amazing buy.
You should keep in mind that this is light BDSM, focusing on domination fantasies. If you're only into extreme BDSM scenes, Kink VR is a better choice. However if you like mainstream porn and don't mind exploring some kinkier fantasies, it's perfect.
