The ArtemiXXX review

The ArtemiXXX is a recent site set up by Artemis Spiegel, who’s a male porn star and a professional dancer.

Artemis has been around for a few years and has shot for several major sites. On The ArtemiXXX, Artemis showcases his talents both behind and in front of the camera. I’d say that ArtemiXXX produces alt porn - high quality porn with an unique look, starring natural girls, often with tattoos and piercings.

Artemis is a black guy and he fucks black, white, and latina girls in the videos. The main genres of the site are hardcore, black, BBC, interracial, and curvy. While I’d label what’s available here at TheArtemiXXX as being “mainstream porn”, I mean that in a positive way. I mean mainstream in the sense that it is primarily B/G “normal” sex, and that people looking for fringe kinks won’t find that here. While the sex is playful and hot, it never strays into misogyny or rough sex beyond what is consensual and playful.

Apart from offering some hot sex scenes, Artemis, the actor and director, also infuses some of the scenes with some light humour or tongue-in-cheek nods to other movie genres. An example of this is a scene that pays homage to the Blaxploitation films of the 1970s. I’ve kicked around porn sites for decades, and my experience is that mixing light humour with porn is usually a bad combination because porn actors aren’t generally very good at acting, nor are they comedians. However, at The ArtemiXXX, Artemis pulls it off with some success.

As implied in my above description of the scenes, these aren’t strictly gonzo where a couple or threesome simply dive into sex, but it also isn’t plot-based in any meaningful way. While there is usually a thin plot, that’s usually only used as a short jumping off point to get into the real action.

I found that the production values at The ArtemiXXX were highly professional. How the scenes are shot, lit, and edited are all at professional level. While many of the scenes deliberately have an amateur “feel” to them, that atmosphere is backed up by professional-grade technical work.

Most models appearing at The ArtemiXXX are relatively unknown. Some have a few scenes listed elsewhere, and a handful of models have up to 40 scenes credited, but none of them are what I would consider to be an A-list pornstar. That isn’t a bad thing, and, in my opinion, it can also be a very good thing. What The ArtemiXXX offers isn’t “cookie-cutter” porn with the same models. While some of the models have some mainstream work in their portfolio, many of them only have a handful of scenes on adult creator platforms such as ManyVids and OnlyFans.

The prevailing body type here is curvy, with some of the models at the upper end of the spectrum into BBW. The models are curvier and naturally beautiful, giving the production an amateur vibe. The age range of models here is also a bit different from what many porn sites offer. While model ages aren’t given, some biographical information I found elsewhere indicates that most of the models here are over 25, and some of them into their 40s. As for other traits, because many of the models are curvy, fans of large breasts will find a lot to enjoy here. Likewise, many of the models here don’t shave or significantly trim their nether regions, so fans of more natural pubic hair will also be happy.

As for model ethnicities, The ArtemiXXX has a relatively proportional representation from the black, white, and latina communities. While I didn’t do a deep dive and cross-reference all models with scenes here on various reference sites, it doesn’t appear that there are any Asian models here.

I found the site to be easy to use and logically laid out. Scenes are available on multiple pages with large thumbnails and a scene name, and performers are listed. There is also a tab for sorting by model name. The ArtemiXXX also offers a categories page which lets you find scenes matching various keywords.
Another option for sorting the scenes is that they are broken down into four “series”: TheArtemixxxVIP, Art’s Gallery, POV Style, The Big Bad Wolf.

The scenes here at TheArtemiXXX are only available for streaming. Unfortunately, I don’t see any option to upgrade a membership to permit downloads. You can buy scenes individually if you want downloads, they cost $15 per scene. While, as a collector, I’ll always prefer downloads, I understand that many subscribers have no interest in downloading, and sites can offer lower pricing for streaming-only.

Each scene is available to be streamed in multiple resolutions, I’ve listed them in the Videos section of this review. Readers should note that the resolutions I’ve listed are those found across the site but not necessarily available on every video. The good news is that 4K is available on every scene on the site. It’s usually the middle-to-lower resolutions that may or may not be available on some scenes.
