Mr. POV review

While this has nothing significant to do with the site itself, some Internet digging on the site’s background indicates that the man who started the site, Mr. POV himself, had a bad day once. The story goes that he got laid off from his job and went home to tell his wife and found her in bed with another man. Mr. POV did what any man would do, which is to open a porn site and have sex with some of the hottest women on the planet while making money doing so.
Is that story implausible? Of course it is. Could it be true though? Yes, it could be. I’m aware of two other men who, after life-changing events, started their own porn sites. So yes, Mr. POV could be a hero for our times.

The back story of Mr. POV, either the site or the man, isn’t relevant though for readers who want to know whether joining the site is worth their while.

To start, it’s important to know that Mr. POV isn’t a stand-alone site but is site in larger network network called Finishes The Job. I’ll give some information on the full network below, and we’ve reviewed the three sites (channels) and the overall network if you are interested in reading those to know what your membership gives you.

So what does Mr. POV offer? In summary, these are primarily gonzo or scenes with a thin plot set up that involve standard porn sex: foreplay, intercourse (mostly vaginal but some anal thrown in for good measure), and then a money shot, which can be a facial, bodyshot, or creampie. There are some scenes where the girl goes further south during the blowjob, and gives the guy a short rimjob before sitting on his dick.

Each scene starts off with a bit of teasing and often dirty talk as well. As the title says, this is all shot POV. As I noted above, occasionally there is a thin plot but in a lot of scenes, we simply jump into the fun part. While I am a big fan of how a scene set up can add to the heat, the scenes here at Mr. POV prove that jumping right into the fun part is hot as well.

Some of the scenes are oral-only, but most involve sex as well. I don’t consider this to be a negative for the site, but occasionally the camera is stationary, presumably on a tripod, but not in a way that focuses on the male talent. Even as a fan of POV scenes, I don’t find that this detracts from them at all. Besides, while this happens, it is infrequent and most camera work is true POV.

Speaking of POV and as a fan of POV, I’m sure readers will agree with me that POV is one style of porn that needs special talent. The male must do two jobs and must do both well. I’m happy to report that the camerawork here at Mr. POV is excellent. The camera is steady and never loses the action. I think the camera work here is so good that even people who aren’t big fans of POV will find a lot to like.

While at camerawork is crucial with POV sites and Mr. POV does this well, the other production values such as sound, lighting, and editing are also good. The scenes here do come across as a bit of a “one-man show”, and won’t match the production values of studios that invest tens of thousands of dollars in a scene, though they look great and they are fun to watch.

The models at Mr. POV are all well-known porn stars, with many of them being A-listers. Readers should note that since this site dates to 2009, the stars in those scenes are from that era. For me, as an avid porn collector, having access to scenes with popular models going back over 15 years is a big draw for getting a membership here. I’m sure I’m not alone in this.

The models are primarily American and mostly Caucasian, though there is some variation in ethnicity. Most of the models fit into the standard porn stereotype of being young (18+) though it’s not hard to find scenes with models in their late 20s here either, and there are some MILFs as well. All scenes are available to stream and download, and all are available in multiple resolutions. I’ve listed available resolutions in the Videos section. Readers should note that older scenes have lower resolutions, and I found wide variations in bitrates too. For example, I found 1080p scenes with a 15,000 kb/s bitrate and I found 1080p scenes with bit rates below 4000 kb/s.

For subscribers who prefer 4K, Mr. POV started offering these on both the new and remastered scenes back in January 2020. Since then, it appears that every upload has included the 4K option. So there are many scenes available in 4K. However, while remastered scenes are available in 4K in theory, don’t expect them to look anything like newly shot 4K scenes - those look a bit worse than modern HD scenes.

I found both downloading and streaming speeds to be fast and stable, but your own Internet connection will matter here. I also purposely went looking for a download limit by downloading a lot of material in a short space of time. I think there is no download limit here, but if there is, it’s high enough that it won’t bother most people.

If you like behind-the-scenes videos and/or interviews, there will be a lot here to keep you happy. Starting in mid-2014, either an interview, a BTS, or sometimes both, was uploaded with most scenes. When it comes to the remastered scenes being uploaded monthly now, not all of them have an associated BTS or interview. My guess is that these are scenes that were originally shot before mid-2014 when these started to be added. However, no matter how you slice it, there are a lot of BTS and interview additions here.

With many of the scenes that do offer a BTS and/or interview, there is another unique option for viewers, and that’s a slow motion cumshot. Some subscribers will find this to be a great feature, and others will be uninterested. My take is that it’s a good indication of how seriously the site takes customer satisfaction. For those of us interested in seeing a slow-motion cumshot, they’ve made those available.

If you collect photos along with your videos, you’ll be happy to find that there is a high quality photo set included with each scene. I am impressed, the photos are hot. The gallleries start with teasing solo pics, then proceed to hot sex photos, shot POV style. As with the videos, earlier photos are lower resolution, but they still look good. You can view the photos online, or download the complete sets as ZIP files. As with many photo sets, the size of the set varies widely, but it’s reasonable to say that there are 150 photos on average per set.

I mentioned that Mr. POV is part of a larger network called Finishes The Job. Apart from Mr. POV, there is a site called ManoJob that features (mostly) handjobs, and The Dick Suckers, which, as the title implies focuses on blowjobs. Overall, including Mr. POV, the network has almost 1900 scenes available. Mr. POV and the whole network is fun to browse. The design is not too flashy, but it’s fast, it has all the important features, and it works well on all devices including mobile phones. You can choose to browse all updates together, or the updates of one particular sub-site. There are different options for sorting and filtering, including filters for 4K, Classic, and Remastered scenes. There are many tags you can use for searching for specific stuff, and there is a model index and model filter too.

Subjectively, I like what Mr. POV has to offer. I enjoy watching POV scenes with some of the top models performing in hot scenes. If you take the tour and like what you see, then I can also say that objectively, Mr. POV is a great membership as well. The scenes are well shot and well produced. They are offered in streaming and downloads in multiple resolutions, including 4K for many scenes. If you like seeing BTS scenes and interviews with some of your favourite models, Mr. POV offers a lot of those.
