Thrillmonger review

Thrillmonger is a pro-am paysite created by a black American male porn star by the same name. It’s a rare example of a model making the leap from a pay-per-clip site such as OnlyFans or ManyVids to a subscription-based site.

In my experience, the other direction is much more common - the model attracts an audience in mainstream subscription-based porn and then jumps to a site like OnlyFans or ManyVids where he or she has more control and becomes self-employed. Unfortunately, in these cases, the costs to access scenes usually goes up exponentially.
So, in the case of Thrillmonger, I appreciate someone allowing easier and less expensive access to their material.

Thrillmonger, the male model, markets himself as offering “BBC porn,” and he’s certainly not misrepresenting himself on his site. Thrillmonger appears in most of the scenes, though he sometimes has similarly endowed friends appear as well.

Thrillmonger started his ManyVids creator profile back in 2019 and migrated some of his videos to the Thrillmonger paysite later. This subscription-based paysite has a lot of his ManyVids videos, but not all of them.

Thrillmonger has shot for other studios as well, such as XEmpire (specifically DarkX) and Dogfart Network / DFXtra. I suspect the fact that Thrillmonger has a presence in the adult industry is what allows him to attract some well-known models to appear with him in scenes. While there are some relatively unknown models, there are porn stars appearing here as well. The site offers a full tour so any interested readers can see all the models who appear on the site prior to subscribing.

For the female models appearing here, there is some variation in age and body type. So you’ll find both thin girls in their early 20s, and busty MILFs in their 30s. Some models have no tattoos, while others are heavily inked. Since Thrillmonger markets itself as an interracial site, most of the models are white.

The scenes on Thrillmonger are primarily standard mainstream hardcore scenes but there is some variation. For example, there are a handful of scenes that are photo shoots of the model that usually conclude with her giving Thrillmonger head, but not to completion. There are a handful of other scenes labelled as “Ass Eater”, which as the scene title indicates, is mostly just a very lucky Thrillmonger licking the ass of the model on set with him that day. Most of the scenes, however, are mainstream. Most of those mainstream scenes are shot in Thrillmonger’s living room on a black couch that figures a largely in his scenes. There are some scenes that are shot in hotel rooms as well. The couch scenes usually start off with Thrillmonger and the model chatting and often rolling and smoking a large joint prior to starting the sex. Once the sex starts, it’s also relatively standard, with foreplay, including Thrillmonger going down on his co-star, prior to the sex. For fans of these many of the scenes conclude with a vaginal creampie.

In general the videos are good quality, all scenes are available to stream in two resolutions, 1080P Full HD and 480P SD. While I am a fan of scenes with an amateur feel to them, sometimes being amateur can have downsides as well. With Thrillmonger, some of those downsides are evident. Some scenes are shot on cellphones as cameras. While cellphone cameras have come a long way, in many instances they still can’t compete with a dedicated camera. Shooting a sex scene on a couch with mostly fixed cameras also means that depending on what’s going on and depending on the positions, some of the “action” can be blocked. Adding to this on Thrillmonger is that since most of the scenes are shot in a real living room, Thrillmonger the model and his co-star often have glasses, cups or bottles on the coffee table in front of the couch and sometimes these things block the camera’s view of the action. I have no technical knowledge of shooting video so I can’t say why this is, but in many of the videos, the female model particularly is washed out. I presume it has something to do with light balance but it’s decidedly non-professional.

This is a subjective opinion, but I see some of these “amateur” flaws as creating some additional heat in the scenes. Obviously, it depends on your own perspective and interests, but I like the “fly on the wall” perspective from watching the scenes. The exception to this is the lighting. When the model is washed out, that’s a problem regardless of any other production matters.

The site itself is logically laid out and easy to use on all kinds of devices. Scenes can be sorted in multiple ways with the default being newest first. Subscribers can also sort by model with each model having her own page that lists the scene or scenes in which she appears.

The site uses an extensive list of tags, though my experience with those tags wasn’t great. As a fan of anal scenes, I clicked on the anal tag and was directed to 24 scenes. Of those 24 scenes, most of them definitely did not include anal sex, and apart from one scene where there was some brief anal sex, the remaining ones were inconclusive due to camera angles. However, I can say that of the 24 scenes tagged as being anal, at least 20 of them clearly did not feature this. Thrillmonger only offers streaming through its subscription-based website. I found the streaming speeds to be fast and stable and when scrubbing forward I had no issues with delays or video stuttering.

If you want downloads, you can create a different VOD (pay-per-video) account by clicking the "Download" link under one of the videos in the free tour. This Thrillmonger pay-per-video store is quite expensive, the website doesn’t offer any special deals to members. The videos at the pay-per-video store are all priced at $59.99 USD. If you are okay with just streaming playback and no downloads, getting access to this big library with an all-access streaming subscription is a lot better deal.

The site currently has 79 videos available. The updates seem to be kind of random. While the update schedule is irregular and infrequent, the site is still updating. Lately the average has been one update per month.

I don’t think I’m mischaracterizing Thrillmonger by saying that it is mainly focused on videos. There are no real photos available. They’ve started adding auto-generated screenshots for the recent updates. There are often many as 500-2000 images in a gallery. There’s no quality control for them, in my opinion they are only useful for previewing the action. You can download the complete screenshot sets as ZIP files too.

The bottom line for me is that I’d encourage any reader who is interested in interracial porn with an amateur look and feel to it to dive into the tour pages. Yes, the vids are not always perfect technically, but the fucking is hot, raw, and unscripted. Thrillmonger gives potential subscribers a full tour that gives the ability to see all the scenes and models on the site before subscribing .
This site is expensive when contrasted against more mainstream sites and networks. However, if you compare getting steaming access to all 79 videos at $59.95 for a month to buying individual videos at $59.95 per video, it’s a good deal. (Yes, one video download costs the same as this all-access subscription). Price aside, I like what Thrillmonger has to offer and I’m confident that there are many others like me who would be equally happy with the membership here.
