James Deen is one of the most popular male porn actors. Even your mom might know him. :-D He has sex with lots of American porn stars and porn girls on his own site JamesDeen.com. These movies are his own production, and he's also the male talent in most of them. Only a few of the scenes feature other guys.

So why is James Deen so successful? Well I can give you my opinion. It seems that girls genuinely like James Deen. In fact some porn stars even seem to have a crush on him. Of course what this leads to is very hot passionate sex. It is a win-win-win for all parties, us the viewers included. ;-) James is a nice guy and he's nice to the girls too. But once it comes to sex he's no wuss, he will fuck them hard when they need it.

Now the question is, is a male porn star capable of creating good porn without the help of a studio? After watching a few of the videos on JamesDeen.com, the answer is a clear, big YES. Here's how I'd categorize the videos on the site:

1. Mainstream hardcore porn. These are high quality scenes that are similar in style to porn that you can find on retail porn DVDs by big studios.

2. Plot-driven longer movies and artistic films. James has produced some premium adult films with a story such as Gluttony, Black & Blue, Diary of a Sex Slave, and his newest movie, Stockholm Syndrome. A few of them also have an art film style to them, with unique colors and perspectives.

3. Pussy eating videos. James has a whole section dedicated to this. He licks pussy in 43 videos.

4. Casual sex with pornstars and other amateur girls. These are my personal favorites. James often hangs out with the girls quite a bit before laying them. They have genuine discussions, have fun and joke around. James basically seduces the girls. By the time they have sex it will be a bit like a new couple having sex, with kissing and lots of passion. I also really liked it that these videos often have a home video feel to them. I really enjoyed them.

5. Behind the scenes (58 videos). Getting ready for the scenes and conversations. It's interesting to look behind the curtains. It's cool that we get to know the girls a bit more. These videos show that it's important for James to learn the likes of the girl before the scenes. The sex will be a lot better that way.

6. Foodie videos in the James Deen Loves Food section (33 videos). They really are about food, most of them don't have girls in them. James tries different meals and restaurants, and tells you his opinion.

Generally I can tell you that each video is very well done. The camerawork and the angles are great. Quality is great, all videos are available in Full HD. While the site does have a romantic side, there's no shortage of hardcore action either. There's lots of anal and cumming into the mouth. There are some threesome and group sex scenes too, including double penetration. There are vids with light BDSM, and some with sex in public. Our current 283 video count is the number the real porn scenes by the way, it doesn't include the behind-the-scenes and food videos.

The girls are hot. As I said they have porn stars like Ava Addams, Riley Reid, Dani Daniels, and Devon Lee, but also amateur girls.

I did not particularly like the site's design, but the interface has the essentials. The scenes are sorted into a few main categories and you can find scenes for different keywords too. You can sort the scenes by date, and there's a model library. My biggest issue is that the scenes can only be played in their video player. You may be able to download their movies if you're tech-savvy, but they do not official offer downloads. This can be a problem particularly for people with a slow connection. The user-interface is not great on mobiles, but the movies can be played properly.

You can browse the most recent updates, but the actual dates are not on the site. My calculations say that there are a few new scenes every week.

JamesDeen.com was a really pleasant surprise to me. It has very original and high-quality content. The only real downside is that they don't offer downloads. I usually don't like it if sites mix different style content, but I didn't mind it here.
If you are interested in how home made sex tapes of porn stars would look, the scenes here are really close to that. The sex is passionate and wild. It's also great that we can get to know some porn stars better here, and not just through dry bullet-point interviews. The regular hardcore flicks are also hot, and if you like busty porn stars, there's no shortage of them.
