Dorcel Network review

Dorcel Network is the #2 paysite of Marc Dorcel, the #1 being Dorcel Club.

Marc Dorcel is a famous European porn producer, his name is synonymous with high-quality, high-production-value, glamorous porn featuring primarily European models.
Apart from producing and directing his own scenes, Marc Dorcel is also affiliated with some of the other best-known European producers and directors. Dorcel has won many awards and was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2015. Dorcel’s scenes have distinct look and feel to them. While the sex is always hot, there’s an element of glamour about them and a shooting style that marks them as a Dorcel production.

Dorcel Network consists of four collections: Girls At Work, Luxure, XXX-Vintage, and Africa-XXX. There is an overlap between the Dorcel sites, and most of the scenes here at Dorcel Network already appeared at the flagship site Dorcel Club at some point. The updates are a mix of newer and older scenes, so the site has a bit of an archive site feel to it.

It’s important to note that one of the channels, Africa-XXX, is exclusive to Dorcel Network, with exclusive African porn recorded in South Africa. It’s also important that Dorcel Network provides full download access to its members, unlike the other large Dorcel archive called Xillimité which is streaming-only.

As I noted in my introduction, the scenes at Dorcel Network, and across the Dorcel library, lean to the softer side of porn. This is porn that a couple could enjoy together. The scenes usually involve a couple having some hot, romantic sex after a brief plot is set out. A viewer here won’t find much rough sex and things associated with it. Misogyny isn’t part of the Dorcel formula. What is part of the formula is shooting high production value scenes with beautiful people having “normal” romantic sex. Yes, you will find some variation, such as a few anal scenes, but even the anal scenes have the softer romance that Marc Dorcel is known for.

Given that Marc Dorcel is French/Hungarian, it won’t be a big surprise to any reader to learn that most models are from France and other European countries. There are some models from the Unites States as well, and of course there are many African models in the Africa XXX series.

Regardless of where the models are from, they are all strikingly beautiful. I don’t collect a lot of European porn, but when I do, the model must be someone I find very attractive. With many European-based sites, I don’t recognize a lot of the models, but here at Dorcel Network, I recognized almost all of them as they are well-known A-list models who have shot widely across European and American sites. This is only speculation on my part, but it’s educated speculation, that the average age of the models here at Dorcel Network is a bit higher than on many other European and American sites. Dorcel Network doesn’t chase the newest, freshest 18-year-olds, but features established models from their mid-20s through to their mid-30s. The site has lots of all-natural models — there are fake tits and tattoos, but they’re less common than on most porn sites.

One feature I like when using the “Models” tab is that models can be sorted by nationality, breast size, and hair colour.

Dorcel Network had 999 sscenes at the time of the review, split between 4 big channels:

1. Girls at Work – 108 scenes. As the channel name implies, the scenes here are taken from the Dorcel series “Girls at Work.” The theme through all these videos is an office environment where a couple (or more) at work give in to their desires. For fans of women dressed in work clothes and high heels, with sexy lingerie underneath, this channel will likely be a favourite.
2. Luxure – 283 scenes. Scenes here are taken primarily from a Dorcel series by the same name, and from Dorcel Club. The scenes here look to have a heavier emphasis on romance and glamorous, luxurious settings.

3. XXX-Vintage – 277 scenes. It will be no surprise to a reader that a producer/director with such a long history of producing quality porn would have a stand-alone site dedicated to his older material. This channel at Dorcel Network gives access to some of those scenes.

4. Africa-XXX – 276 videos. This channel features most of the exclusive scenes available at Dorcel Network and touts itself as the first 100% African channel, with productions made only by Africans. It would be a rare porn viewer who isn’t aware that interracial porn is a popular theme, and that, especially with American sites, interracial porn is defined narrowly to mean a black male with a white female. While sites certainly exist that cater to a black audience with both men and women in the scenes being black, I’m not aware of any other site or channel where the porn features solely performers from South Africa in scenes directed and produced by Africans. The uniqueness of this channel itself makes a subscription to Dorcel Network worth checking out. As this is the signature channel on Dorcel Network, it updates regularly with a new scene every few days. Fans of the Africa-XXX scenes will note that there is a separate tab for “Africa TV,” but that requires a separate subscription.

From the numbers above it seems that there are about 50 scenes that aren’t assigned to any particular channel.

The scenes at Dorcel Network are available for streaming and downloads. All but a handful of the videos available are available in multiple resolutions. I only encountered a few scenes that were obviously quite old that were only available in one resolution. It appears that Dorcel may have remastered some of his older material, because even many of the older scenes at Dorcel Network are available in 1080p. I’ve listed the available resolutions in the Videos section, but readers should note that given the scenes offered here span at least two decades, not every resolution is going to be available on every scene.

Dorcel Network does offer many scenes in 4K resolution for downloads — streaming is capped at 1080P Full HD. Unfortunately, because there is no way to sort for 4K scenes nor are 4K resolution scenes identified without opening the scene itself, I cannot give an accurate count of the 4K scenes. However, an estimate is that approximately 20% of the newer scenes do offer 4K resolution. Unfortunately Africa XXX seems to be recorded in 1080P Full HD still, it is not available in 4K.

I didn’t find any download limits as I explored Dorcel Network, and I was told I wouldn’t find any. Occasionally, however, I had to click to prove that I wasn’t a robot, but that occurred infrequently and wasn’t obtrusive.

There are currently 999 scenes available at Dorcel Network, and while the way the site is organized makes it difficult to accurately calculate an update schedule, I can assure readers that scenes appear to be added to the overall network every few days. The average scene length is approximately 25 minutes, but readers should note there is a wide variation here. While some of the older scenes are under 10 minutes long, many of the newer ones are longer than 30 minutes.

Dorcel scenes are widely available in Europe, even on adult TV channels and in hotels. Because of this, many scenes are available in multiple languages, with dialogue dubbed in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Polish. While these language options may or may not be of value to each subscriber and there’s not a lot of dialogue, I think most will agree that it shows an attention to detail not seen at many other sites.

While Dorcel Network does offer some photos, I would not categorize it as a site geared for serious photo collectors. Most of the scenes only offer a handful of photos or no photos at all. The pics are generally pretty great looking. They are only available to view online, there is no gallery ZIP download option. The photos here are in WebP format and not the almost-universal JPG format. Dorcel Network doesn’t have to justify why it used a different format, though the fact that it has JPG quality with a higher compression ratio and, therefore, uses less server space, likely explains it. I am certain that most porn subscribers have a photo viewer that will support WebP.

Whether I’m subscribing to a site on my own or whether I’ve been assigned to review a site, I look for three basic elements that will cause a site to stand out. First, the porn must be good. Obviously, this will be a subjective assessment. Second, the site must be easy to use. A subscriber should be able to navigate quickly and easily through the site to find things that interest them. Finally, the site has to offer good value.

In my opinion regarding Dorcel Network, it easily meets my first test of having some good porn. While my personal tastes run to scenes with a harder edge, I can’t deny how hot these scenes are. Not only are the women strikingly beautiful, and they are, but the scenes themselves are shot in a way that accentuates that beauty.

The layout of the is straightforward and logical, it looks nice on both large and mobile screens. However there are some small things in the user interface that could be better. For me, foremost among these shortcomings is the inability to move quickly between the pages of the updates. Here at Dorcel Network, there are no page numbers. You have to go to the bottom of the updates, click the “See More” button, then scroll down again, and do this over and over to browse the older updates. Most other sites have an easy means to go to specific pages.

Another issue at Dorcel Network that seems to be more of an error is that when browsing the “Latest Videos,” the dates aren’t chronological as you’d expect. Oddly, I found a scene with an upload date that is two weeks into the future. Further, as I went from newest to oldest videos, I’d expect to see an accurate chronology, but among the most recent scenes was one that is listed as having been uploaded in 2012. My initial thought was that the dates used here at Dorcel Network aren’t upload dates for Dorcel Network itself but are the production/upload dates when these scenes were originally made available on other Dorcel sites. But further digging hints that this hypothesis isn’t correct. I found a recently uploaded scene on the XXX-Vintage channel that has sufficiently low resolution to identify it as a scene being at least 15 years old. However, it was listed with a 2023 upload date.

The keyword system is also quite limited. There are only 13 keywords (categories) currently that you can use for searching: Best of 2023, Big boobs, Big butts, Double penetration, Duo, Fetish, Intense sex, Lesbian, MILFS, Naturals, Orgy, Outdoor sex, and Threesome. You’d expect some more keywords such as Anal, Small Tits, Stockings, Heels, or 4K, but they don’t exist.

Even with the minor user interface deficiencies, Dorcel Network is a good site. I definitely recommend that someone who likes softer porn featuring strikingly beautiful women in scenes that have some of the highest production values available take a tour.
