Rave Bunnys review

Rave Bunnys (that’s how the site spells it) is a relatively new site serving a narrow niche in porn. The site takes the look and feel of a rave and uses that in a hot POV sex scene.

Primarily, what Rave Bunnys does is have the model dress up in typical rave clothes and accessories, and in heavy rave makeup, body paint, and couples that with rave-style lighting in an otherwise mainstream porn scene. It’s a unique look and I’m confident that it will find a lot of happy subscribers (me included).

I can’t say that I’ve ever written a site review by starting out writing about things like the set and wardrobe, but to understand what Rave Bunnys is offering that makes it unique, that’s where we need to start.

While the set itself is just a normal home where the scene is shot in the living room or bedroom, by using neon and laser lighting in an otherwise dimly lit room, it creates a rave atmosphere. The only exception is the music, you aren’t subjected to the loud, pulsating electronic music favoured at raves, you’ll only be hearing the sex noises. This can be a pro or con depending on your taste. In my opinion, having the scene audio drowned out by EDM would detract from the scenes, but if you were looking for the full party experience, it’s a con.

It’s the rave wardrobe that really sets Rave Bunnys apart. I won’t pretend to have any inside knowledge of rave culture, but I know enough to know that the young women at raves tend to dress provocatively and include lots of flashy accessories such as plastic bracelets and necklaces. The typical rave-style makeup is anything but subtle and includes heavy eye makeup. As someone who is about as far removed from rave culture as is possible, I can’t vouch for the accuracy of the wardrobe and accessories, but as someone who has been an active porn buyer for decades, I can tell you that it works. In my opinion, the provocative clothing coupled with the over-the-top accessories and makeup, creates a certain feel. And using popular culture as my only guide, I understand that self-expression, sexuality, and letting go are all part of the rave culture.

Some readers will be familiar with party-themed sites where a large crowd is gathered in a sexually charged atmosphere. While many of the women in those scenes were just extras to generate some eye candy, there were always a few models, mostly known porn stars, who turned the party into sex. I only mention this because Rave Bunnys is not one of those sites. It does not attempt to create a rave atmosphere using a large crowd and electronic dance music. When I say that Rave Bunnys has mainstream gonzo sex scenes, I don’t mean that in a negative way. For all the rave trappings, after the model has posed and teased for a while, once the foreplay and sex start, it’s mostly standard B/G stuff. It’s blowjobs, pussy licking, sometimes a little toy play to start and then sex in multiple positions until the money shot. All the while, however, the neon and laser lights continue to create a rave atmosphere.

The scenes appear to be shot with a single camera which means that much of it is POV. When it isn’t POV, the camera is set where it can capture the action. My preference will always be to have a camera operator moving around to best catch the action, but the shooting style here at Rave Bunnys is well done and isn’t distracting.

The site currently had 77 scenes available at the time of this review, and is updating as often as every three days, though there are sometimes five days between uploads. No matter how you look at it, that is a generous update schedule, and the site will grow quickly because of it. Of those scenes, most are standard B/G scenes though there are five scenes that are some B/G/G threesomes. Occasionally there are some extra kinks in the scenes too, such as titty fucking, deep throating, anal or rimming.

The models with scenes at Rave Bunnys are mostly well-known and occasionally A-list performers from America. Several models have multiple scenes on the site. Some of the models are relative unknowns with just a handful of scenes to their credit. However, all adapt the rave look for their scenes here, and many models have tattoos too. The average age of the models with scenes here tends to skew a little older than I would expect for a rave-themed site. Several of the models are in their early 30s but most are in their mid to late 20s. Occasionally a model in her early 20s has a scene here. Regardless of age, the performances are all top-notch.

As with a bit of variation in model ages, there is also some variation in body type. While many of the models fit into the standard porn mould of being petite, there are plenty of models with curves and larger breasts. There isn’t a lot of variation in ethnicity. Caucasian models make up most of the site.

The male model in all the scenes is Brian Omally, whose name may not be instantly recognizable to porn fans, but his face will be. He’s a regular porn performer with some major studios. This is only speculation on my part, but given that he is in every scene, this may be his foray into his own site.

These scenes at Rave Bunnys are available for both streaming and downloading in multiple resolutions. I’ve listed those resolutions in the video section. Most scenes scenes are available to download in 4K resolution, but there are some random scenes that top out at 1080p. If you choose streaming, that’s available in up to 1080P, you can choose the streaming resolution with the Watch Movie button under the video player.

The videos are good looking, but the dark room and the flashing lights make it hard to achieve perfect quality, the neon and laser lights cause digital artifacts in the video. This wasn’t and isn’t a deal-breaker for me, because while noticeable, it isn’t too distracting. I only mention this in the interest of being thorough.

Readers should note that when joining the site there are “download restrictions” noted. I have no information on what these download restrictions are and after joining the site and downloading multiple (and many) scenes, I didn’t encounter any download limit or speed throttling. However, potential subscribers should note that the warning about download restrictions exists and even if there are none at the time of this writing, the site may impose those later.

There is a photo set available with each scene. There is also a link at the top of the main page that takes subscribers directly to all the photos sets. They are nice hardcore photo sets that start with some teasing and progress to full-on hardcore photography with closeups.
Photos are available in only one resolution (1600x1200) and appear to be available for online viewing only. Unfortunately, there are no ZIP download links for the photo galleries.

I’ve listed the average number of photos per set as approximately 300, though readers should note there is a wide variation. There are sets with around 100 photos, and there are sets with close to 800 photos.

Rave Bunnys is affiliated with Hussie Pass and uses the same website design as that site. Also, since Brian Omally shoots with HussiePass almost exclusively these days, that’s another link. In my opinion, having that link to an established site is a good thing for a relatively small and new site as the new site can draw on the experience of the established site. I think this affiliation will help Rave Bunnys to stick around and continue to thrive and grow.

The members area runs on a simple generic platform that many paysites use, including Hussie Pass. It is logical and easy to use, and it looks good on both large and small screens. Main sections are Videos (called Shows), Photos, and Models (called Bunnys). Each scene has a list of tags that allow a subscriber to find other scenes with those attributes. A bit hard to find, but you can also search by tag if you click on the search icon in the menu first, then the “Advanced Search” link that appears afterwards.
There is only one bug I encountered, on small mobile screens the menu collapses quickly, so you have to tap quickly if you wish to go to the Photos or Models section instead of Videos.

For readers considering joining Rave Bunnys, there is additional good news. Rave Bunnys has made a monthly subscription relatively inexpensive at $15 USD. I give them full credit for doing this while the site is relatively new. It’s a win/win for the site and for members. I have no hesitation in recommending that readers check out Rave Bunnys. While most of the reviews here are done using a subscription provided by the site, some are done using a paid membership. In this case, I stumbled on a mention of Rave Bunnys on a forum and after a quick tour, I signed up on my own dime. I like unique sites like this and I’m confident that I’m not alone. I’m sure that there are many readers like me who have an interest in unique themes like the rave theme here at Rave Bunnys, and those readers will likely be as pleased with the membership here as I am. For a new site, this one already has a good amount of scenes, and it’s growing rapidly. The scenes look great and the sex is hot. The lighting, wardrobe, accessories, and makeup add an alluring element to the otherwise mainstream scenes. The models are well known and give great performances. The scenes are available as streaming and downloads in multiple resolutions, including 4K downloads on most. Photos are available, but not as a zip file.

The current subscription price makes Rave Bunnys an excellent value and readers with even a passing interest should consider taking a tour. I’m sure that many will be like me and immediately subscribe.
